As Assistant Deputy Secretary for Regulatory Programs at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Shannon Herbon provides strategic leadership and support for the Department’s statewide environmental regulatory programs. Working collaboratively with district and division leadership, Herbon helps advance environmental permitting, compliance, policy implementation, workforce development, and operational excellence while fostering collaboration, consistency, and continuous improvement in support of DEP’s mission to protect Florida’s air, water, and land.
