David O' Brien has more than 32 years of experience in surveying, having received a BS in Surveying Engineering from the University of Maine. He co-founded his first surveying firm in 1995, where he served as a professional surveyor and Vice President for over 10 years. He is a licensed surveyor and mapper in twelve (12) states; Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS); and Certified Floodplain Surveyor (CFS). David started SurvTech in 2004, a geospatial firm offering land surveying, hydrographic surveying, aerial mapping (LiDAR & Imagery) with UAVs, helicopters, and airplanes, GIS, subsurface utility location, GIS, 3D laser scanning (terrestrial, mobile, and indoor), and metrology.
