40th Environmental Permitting Summer School

Leader with 20+ years of experience building high performing teams and implementing regulatory programs that advance the environmental priorities established by the Governor and Legislature. I oversee the South District’s team of 90+ professional and technical staff responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental laws across an 8-county region, spanning air, water, waste, and state lands programs.

I promote statewide consistency in permitting and compliance through strong communication and coordination with agency leadership. My approach emphasizes fairness, transparency, and balance, protecting Florida's natural resources while supporting responsible economic growth. I work proactively with the regulated community through education and outreach, and I am committed to delivering exceptional public service aligned with DEP’s mission and values.
