About me
Krista is an Assistant Vice President focusing on coastal restoration for WSP. She has a B.S. in Marine Science from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, and a Master’s in Environmental Management focused on Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University. Following completion of her master’s, Krista spent more than 10 years working with the State of Florida, first with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Division of Marine Fisheries Management and then as the Planning & Policy Administrator for Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Resilient Florida Program. In her time with the state, Krista focused on engaging the public, including local governments, private citizens, and NGOs, in sustainable resource management and flood protection. Since coming to WSP in early 2025, she has worked to increase opportunities for nature-based resilience in Florida and is assisting with resilience efforts for public and private infrastructure.
