About me
Pamela Flores is the Chief of Natural Sciences for the Bureau of Water Policy at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). She brings more than 18 years of experience serving the people of Florida by helping protect the state's natural resources. During her tenure at DEP, she has worked in the Biology Laboratory, Watershed Assessment, and Total Maximum Daily Load development. In her current role, she provides administrative oversight and leads policy development in close coordination with Florida's water management districts on critical issues related to water supply planning, consumptive use permitting, and minimum flows and levels.
Pamela holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning with a specialization in Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, both from Florida State University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Florida Certified Contract Manager.
